Larissa Klinger

 Full BIO

Larissa Klinger is an actor, musician, director, educator, and entrepreneur who finds joy and inspiration in collaborating and creating.  She has enjoyed a successful career in theatre, commercial television and voice-over.

Some of her favorite theatre credits include: National Tour: The 39 Steps where her comedienne skills were put to the test as she enjoyed the challenge of creating three distinct characters each night (Annabella/Pamela/Margaret), and Miracle on 34th Street, a show that brought so much nostalgia as she stepped into the shoes of a progressive, successful working woman ahead of her time (Doris). Regionally Larissa has been able to show her versatility in a broad range of characters, with some of her favorite being: The Spitfire Grill taking the journey every night, starting shy and reserved and then learning to be strong and bold (Shelby), I DO! I DO! a two person musical that spans 50 years of a marriage (Agnes), Damn Yankees playing that sweet and sexy lost soul (Lola), Legally Blonde a chance to be the villain (Vivienne), Mack and Mabel embodying a silent movie star with lots of physical comedy (Mabel), Lend Me a Tenor having so much fun with Ken Ludwig and slamming doors (Diana), Cabaret causing a rumpus time in the Kit Kat Klub (Helga), 42nd Street getting out her tap shoes and tapping away to a beloved musical (Phyllis).  Feel free to click on her professional resume to see more of her work credits.

Larissa can be seen in regional and national commercial campaigns (credits given upon request) and has enjoyed being the voice of several commercials as well.

One of her greatest joys professionally was being a part of the USO Show Troupe for nine years. Larissa's father is retired from the Army, so touring worldwide and bringing joy through music to our American Military Service Members and their families has been a sentimental and rewarding experience.  With the USO Show Troupe, Larissa has toured South Korea, Okinawa, and Germany as well as all over the United States. She has performed in front of millions live, and millions more on network, at ABC's Rockin' New Year's Eve in Times Square, and performed the National Anthem/God Bless America at the MetLife Stadium for the New York Jets, CitiField for the Mets, Staples Center for the LA Clippers, Barclay Center for the NY Islanders, Gillette Stadium for the New England Revolutions, and at the Nascar Pocono Raceway. Larissa has been a featured soloist with the Cincinnati Pops, ElPaso Symphony and the Battle Creek Symphony and was with the USO Show Troupe when they opened CMA Fest 2017 with Phil Vassar.

Larissa is a Kansas City native.  She has a degree in Music Education and a minor in Theatre and Communications from MidAmerica Nazarene University where she was a college athlete playing volleyball and basketball on scholarship. She now lives in NYC with her actor husband, Dan Fenaughty, and their dog Chuck.
